I hope everyone has a good Easter weekend. I decided to go more silly than historical tonight. So enjoy some Canadian politicians as children during an Easter egg hunt. 1. Doug Ford, Ontario

We set aside two full days to bargain in good faith with the Government-Trustee Bargaining Committee (GTBC). Today, they didn't even bother to show up. Our kids deserve better than not showing up.

We were there, at the boardroom, in the STF building—literally, our building. We never left. Not sure what Scott Moe and Jeremy Cockrill are referring to. Their team didn't show up.

I'm just going to say this again for Sask Party brobots: Last week Scott Moe slipped half a BILLION DOLLAR CARBON TAX into his 2024-25 budget, retroactively paid by SaskPower ratepayers. Paid by you. AND you've lost your federal rebate.

A powerful town hall tonight led by Samantha Becotte reminding teachers of their collective power and our solidarity. I am proud to be colleagues with the 13 000+ teachers of this province. #weareSTF

If I was a betting man I would put money on a bet that the Moe/Cockrill play in the current bargaining with teachers is invoking this section of the Saskatchewan Employment Act. A supervised vote of the government’s last offer. If so, teachers should reject it.

“Both the minister (of education) and I have recognized that solutions with classroom complexity aren’t going to be solved within one year..." Wow. It's over for public education in Saskatchewan. Sad, kind of nauseating. Thanks for absolutely nothing, Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation.
