Typically we work all day leaving the house @ 6:30 & get home 12 hours later. I make dinner. We eat & clean up. I pack lunches for the next day. Then we either catch up on work or Netflix and are in bed by 10:30. We are 50 y/o empty nesters. Anyone w/ these stats any different?

Just when I thought life was on the downhill side, my husband doesn’t want to be a part of our nearly three decade marriage anymore. Here come more uncharted territories. Ugh.

Yesterday was my wedding anniversary. Friday I told my husband to take his things and go to his 28 y/o mistress’s place after receiving a picture of them. For the record... My wedding ring is 29 y/o.

I feel seen and encouraged. 29 years of marriage. I’ve had an autoimmune disease for 3 years. Been dealing with a cheating husband for 6. Two weeks ago sent him packing. He chose his 28 y/o mistress. Working on divorce. Hard as hell but I’m hoping to be myself again.

This was for someone else, but as I work on the legal proceedings to end a 29 year marriage, this tracks for me.

I am reminded of the importance of paying it forward as I work with a divorce attorney who is a former student & has yet to bill me bc she’s “just helping a friend who gave her so many real-life, useful skills in HS 10 years ago.” #Karma #ForeverIndebted

First mediation meeting today. Of course nothing was decided in this initial meeting. The WUZband wasn’t good at hiding his facial emotions when actual number were put on the table. I don't think he understood the long reaching repercussions. But, he wanted the divorce. 🤷‍♀️

Had to send my 14 y/o dog to the Rainbow Bridge last week. Hug your fur babies for me.

My first day of summer and it will be 95 degrees. I’ll be on the boat all day. Don’t try to reach me.

Last week was the longest year: 3 community suicides (one from school), Homecoming week, and COVID. Now I go into isolation and rejuvenation for the weekend.

I’m updating my resume. Some people suggest a complete “trendy” overhaul with a word cloud, different structure, colleague quotes, etc. Advice?
