What I find lacking in most Canadian reporting of US affairs and of US-Canada relations is overt mention of the objective fact that the President of the United States is a criminal degenerate who, by rights, should be in jail.

When you use the notwithstanding clause preemptively, you're telling on yourself. You're telling the rest of us what we already know: you're violating charter rights and you don't care. You don't care about rights or about vulnerable youth. Shame on the Government of Alberta.
