BTU President Erik Berg provides an update on last night’s negotiation session: BostonPublicSchools is still resisting proposals to improve inclusive education, school safety and is seeking major concessions in exchange for wages that still don’t meet our members needs.

On the same day where 100s of BTU educators weathered the rain to publicly call on BostonPublicSchools to act with urgency to ratify a fair contract, BPS left our negotiation session with 30 minutes on the clock and proposals on the table. Our students deserve better.
