A great time at Westmorland show. Setup day wet and muddy but show day fantastic. Lots of visitors interested in the trust and it's work.

Raising the valve winching post. This was done today by our 'fearless' members. The post had sunk into the towpath and we lifted it today.

A busy weekend just passed with many volunteers turning up to demolish the old stone walls and rebuild them.

On Wed we set up a syphon at Stainton to drain excess water from the canal bed. Next year we will use liner to seal it.

This weekend we are working at Stainton and Hincaster. Hard work and lots of fun and banter. Join us..!!
