Recent Long Beach Post coverage on a LA pipe that broke & caused a sewage spill highlights the importance of our recommendations to improve sewer line maintenance & preventative education so that #LongBeach can prevent sanitary sewer overflows which have #environmental impacts.

We’re pleased that as City of Long Beach reviews the equity of park spaces in the Parks, Recreation & Marine strategic plan they're noting how parks need to be maintained & adequately resourced. The importance of park maintenance funding was highlighted in our Parks Maintenance Audit

Our recent report confirmed Prop H, a tax on oil producers championed by City Auditor Doud, generated nearly $3 million at no cost to the tax payers last year for Long Beach Fire (CA) & Long Beach PD (CA) #publicsafety positions with Fire Truck 17 & Mental Health Teams.
