This is the Lacrosse Canada response regarding pick-ups for the Mann Cup by the Victoria Shamrocks ☘️ . I will repeat an earlier post which quoted the late Dorothy Robertson on her induction to the CLHoF: “Lacrosse has to be a great game to survive the people that are running it”.

Ppl will weigh in on this situation w/ a variety of opinions, opinions highly influenced by who they happen to cheer for. That’s expected. What’s not expected is that Lacrosse Canada can screw up this badly that a vote on this debacle was not taken until the eve of Mann Cup 2024.

Update: Mann Cup 2024 - The Lacrosse Canada debacle regarding eligibility of NW Salmonbellies Malcom & Messenger. The Sports Dispute Resolution Centre Canada has ruled the 2 players eligible. An inquiry must now be held to determine accountability, and recommend remedial measures
