I’ve just finished watching the entire Harry Potter series for the first time. Again, how did I go so long without watching another good franchise?

This is the most backwards, unpatriotic thing. So many people blinded by their ignorance, yet boldly proclaim to be proud Americans. Ridiculous and sickening.

I took off my mask to eat lunch with my kids at work, and one of my four year olds looked me dead in my eyes and yelled “You look funny”. I’m over it.

Today one of my preschoolers put their foot in my face, and I said “Ew, don’t stick your funky feet in my face”. That prompted the rest of my kids to use the phrase “funky feet”. ...it did not sound like they were saying the word funky.

What is it about being in a gas station that decreases the chances of people wearing mask? The cashier isn’t even wearing one...

We would like to send our prayers & condolences to Dylan’s family during this time. Dylan was one of the hardest working and most respected players & young men to come through this program. We will forever cherish everything he brought to Muncie Central Basketball! #RIPDStaff

I turned 20 years old today. With this being the second birthday I’ve celebrated within a pandemic, there was no/will be no big ordeal. I’ll just keep counting my blessings and being thankful for another year.

I was playing Mr. Brightside by The Killers, prompting a ten year old in my class to ask if it was Lil Peep.

Thankful for mask hiding my smile/laugh every time one of my preschoolers does something and absolutely wipes out.

I wonder how Mr. Hittle is doing.

I was out with some friends last night and ran into some students I worked with this last school year. I’m still not used to being recognized as Mr. Sims, but it is my new reality… and the rest of my life. 🥴
