Faculty have formed a human barrier between their CUNY students and campus police.

We condemn the arrest of the 28 people at Emory who were gathered peacefully in solidarity with Palestine. Among them was Emory prof Dr. Keme, who also serves as our beloved Prof of Indigenous Studies. He was checking in on students when he was slammed to the ground and arrested.

As the Atlanta Police Department begins loading arrestees into transport vans, a growing crowd is chanting “protest is not a crime” and “every city is cop city.”
