Let's be very clear: We must protect the right to protest, academic freedom, and free speech. These values are essential to college campuses and to our nation. At the same time we condemn antisemitism, anti Muslim and anti Arab hate speech and violence.

Can’t believe how quickly this generation of college students went from being characterized as lazy, unmotivated and unprepared to accomplish anything to a posing such a threat to their elders that they must be subdued by snipers and cops with cuffs and clubs.

I have disabled students participating in the peaceful encampment/protests UConn. When cops arrived they put hands on one of my disabled students & dislocated their shoulder. This student is still there, but injured. If @uconn says there are no injuries, that is a lie.
