I’ma need everyone (especially Black ppl) to learn what “marginal tax rate” means:

It doesn’t mean your whole $400k gets taxed at a higher rate.

It means every dollar you make PAST $400k gets taxed at a higher rate.

So if you make $500k, $100k gets taxed higher, not all $500k.
