Losing your job and losing your home can be devastating. Nik (not his real name) found help at the Longford Centre. It's a safety net to help people stay off the streets. The staff at the centre helped Nik turn his life around. Here's his story #worldhomelessday2018

Big Change MCR gives direct support to help people to get off and stay off the street. Your small change could pay for: 🏘️deposits 🚌travel to their new home 🍳 pots and pans 🛏️bed linen 🛋️sofa 🕴️clothes for job interviews 👩‍🎓education or training courses.

Seeing someone sleeping rough is always heart-wrenching, especially as the weather gets colder. But it’s often hard to know exactly what you can do to help. Should you be giving spare change or buying them a hot meal? Or is there a more impactful way to offer your support?
