Our new paper showing that use of restricitve practices in residential care for people with disability in Ireland is generally low was published last night. Sometimes restricitve practices are needed but there is still room to reduce their use pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36173089/

Our 2nd paper on restrictive practices, this time on their use in nursing homes, highlights the need for more comprehensive definitions to support better recognition and in turn reduce use. Psychosocial restrictive practices in particular need attention. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36243703/
