Huge congratulations to a brilliant venue. Grassroots venues are the heart of our musical communities. An important space for creativity, a spark of joy, a boost to city centre economies. Music was the reason I survived Belfast in the 90s. Music is still a vital part of the city.

I was a little teary after tonight’s #comebackrun with Coach Bennett. Between all the stress and worry and the hospital visits, I’ve not had a lot of space for exercise. Thank you for telling me I’m still a runner. It feels better to be a runner who ran today.

Ah, Marc Burrows’s Magic of Terry Pratchett show is such a delight. He’s absolutely channelled Terry’s warmth, humour, righteous anger and big, big heart. (Though I still think the best book is The Truth.)
