More bus priority measures but make sure itā€™s enforced. This has bus lane has been used as parking for years and nothing changes.

Folks! The Brum Zine Fest is everything and more. So many good folk involved, my soul feels warmed and I have a stack of new reading. Itā€™s on until 7pm at The Hive so you have time to get down to it.

Flipping delighted to see this story getting in the local press. Weā€™ve been working behind the scenes for weeks trying to get the shop sorted and itā€™s finally open!

Bus driver has had enough of the traffic and (after checking and alerting) is taking us on a detour because Sherlock St is not moving. NX West Midlands please give this driver commendation for his problem solving. Fleet 4876 45/47 out of Bham to Longbridge.

This is an excellent thread which also explains why public transport in the West Midlands is anything but simple and why things like comparing the WM to London doesnā€™t work.

A year ago today, I got a bike for my birthday and tried learning to cycle for the first time. I've made a little video for fun to show my journey over the past twelve months.
I didn't think I'd be able to, so if you've never learned or want to try again, this is your signšŸš“

Iā€™m at Stirchley Forum but wonā€™t be live tweeting because I have 35% battery. Will do an update when I get home, if folk are interested.

Hey NX West Midlands the driver of this bus deserves a commendation. Ensured a passenger in a wheelchair could get on the bus and waited until they were in place before moving, also safely challenged attempted at non-payment.

45 bus Fleet 5514 arrived in Brum city centre at 10.45

The scaling back and scrapping of HS2 is one of the biggest symbols of failure in this country. But especially this - failing to have a direct connection between Manchester and Paris for want of a short tunnel in London. Brunel wouldā€™ve constructed this in a weekend as a side gig

A real plan for drivers would be to give people genuine transport choices like walking, cycling + public transport.

Only then can we reduce car dependency, freeing up road space for those who really need to drive.

It could be like driving during school holidays. All year round.
