CONFIRMED self-employed limited company directors CAN be furloughed as employees on their PAYE element, even if theyre sole employee. Technically they can't then work for the firm, but can continue to perform their statutory obligations as directors eg official legal filings etc

Prior to our new Skills Stability Plan, an employer with an annual levy bill of £1200 would normally pay £2400 over 2020-22. Instead, they'll now pay nothing from Apr-Aug this year and then take advantage of spreading the cost: £100 per month up to Feb 2022, paying £1800 overall.
