Liam Bright Haven't seem Discovery, but this is sort of how I felt about the JJ Abrams movies. They were generic space adventures skinned with some Star Trek nostalgia.

Half of all philosophers referee less than ONE paper every TWO months? Thanks again, philosophy profession, every time I start to think of myself as lazy and useless, you're there to get my back.

Almost right but doesn’t go far enough. In fact you should go to UofT and major in mathematics—this is the only way to avoid being cringe.

Your periodic reminder that England, a windswept nation with more potential for onshore wind power than almost anywhere else in the world (other than Scotland), banned new onshore wind farms in 2017.

Just remembered I got Papal infallibility into a publication (academic.oup.com/monist/article… or for free at: liamkofibright.com/uploads/4/8/9/…). Huge L for 'I F'ckin Love Science' types, you all have to convert to Catholicism now it's peer reviewed. Huge W for Jesus and His bride the Church tho.

Sometimes I wonder to myself - could the Roman Empire have been saved if their intelligentsia hadn't betrayed them by endorsing postmodernism?

Philosopher needs math help:

I have a finite set S={p1,...,pN} of N distinct points in R^N, each p_i non-negative and summing to 1.

Take an arbitrary p_i. Can I always find a hyperplane that intersects p_i and no other p_j?

I.e. an X, b such that {p_j: p_j.X = b} = {p_i}?

Goodman really missed a trick calling this 'ways of worldmaking' instead of 'how to do things with worlds'
