So on Friday night these 3 nutters started and completed the tough Jurassic Coast 100k. Huge well done to all as they crossed the line together which also meant Anne & Selina came joint 3rd females. 👏👏👏👏💪 They even let John keep up with them 😁 #TeamLangport

Good turn out today Yeovil Full Marathon & Heron Half at Yeovilton also a couple headed over to Thurlbear School Taunton to run the Piddlewood Plod 10k. I think it’s fair to say some mixed fortunes today all round. Some hit pb’s while injury & illness hindered others. #ThatsRunning

Ok where do we start ?, Langport had runners everywhere this weekend so here goes. Nicky & Anne completed the Race to the King A breathtaking double marathon totalling 52.4 miles over the South Downs. Amazing effort, well done you crazy nutters.

Saturday evening saw Selina & John head off to Wales for the Brutal Events Midnight Mountain Marathon. Starting at 17.30 they ran over the Brecon Beacons with a cut off time of midnight. This race saw them run part of Fan Dance & Pen y Fan, part of the special forces course.

We had more Marathon Runners with Maggie, Steve & Mike heading to Dorset for the @GHMarathon whilst Sue & Liz headed to Devon for the #NorthDevonMarathon. Well done all in what has been a hot weekend to run in.

Finally a couple of our speed kings headed to the Torbay Half Marathon. Kyle finished in an amazing 1hr 24 finishing 37th, Ben finishing in 1hr 40. Some cracking times in this heat so well done boys.

Although I’ve highlighted the bigger runs we mustn’t forget all those others running this weekend either in parkrun UK somewhere, training or races I haven’t been told about. This weather is glorious but certainly challenging. Take care all & stay hydrated. #RunHappy #TakeCare

So this weekend we had our usual Parkrunners, Liz celebrated her birthday at Montacute with her 95th parkrun UK we also had runners at Street & Southampton.

Meanwhile a group of us headed to the Jurassic Coast to take part in the very hilly Charmouth Challenge. A 7.7mile coastal run which includes running to Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast.

But the prize this weekend must go to Ben & Kyle who on the hottest day of the year completed the 50k (31miles) Ham to Lyme ultra. Starting at Ham Hill they finished at Lyme Regis running along the Liberty way. Amazing effort chaps. 👏👏👏
