14 March 1471 - Edward IV and his brother Richard of Gloucester land at Ravenspur in Yorkshire with a force of 36 ships and 2,300 men hoping to reclaim the throne from the Lancastrians. Ironically, it was the same spot Henry IV, landed with his Lancastrian army in 1399.
