An analysis of salmon derby data vs cisco recruitment shows Chinook salmon size dramatically increasing 2 & 3 yrs after cisco recruitment events in Lake Superior. Coming off a historic 2022 recruitment, a 39lb fish was caught in 2024 and bigger ones could be in store for 2025.
