After the disgrace of a vote today to not provide meals for our most vulnerable children during half term , we will do our best to provide local families meals during this time . Please can I appeal to any other business that can help to do so up and down the country . Thankyou

I had free school meals as a child. Growing up single parent family we didn’t have a lot of money. 2nd hand clothes, not being able to afford school trips was pretty normal but free meals meant I could concentrate, fulfil my potential, allowed me to thrive & be person I am today.

While news over the weekend makes everything feel a little more uncertain, one thing remains the same, our commitment to provide food parcels for those who need them in Lambeth. Together with Brixton Foodbank Lambeth and Croydon Foodbank Waterloo Foodbank & our volunteers we'll be there.
