I’ve spent the afternoon on the farm with my boys. A long walk, making friends with the animals, collecting eggs and eating ice cream in the sunshine. It’s been time well spent and soul-soothing. #Saturday #Saturday Sunshine #JustLikeHome

It’s Saturday. I already know that by the time the new working week comes around I still won’t have recovered from the last one.

It’s an exhausting and frustrating situation to be in.

This afternoon my other half is taking me book shopping at Scarthin Books. The best therapy.

It really is the little things that make all the difference. This was from the children of one of my village’s childminders just as I was leaving to see a very challenging patient. Thank you for spreading joy this morning. 🩷 #RandomActOfKindness

Today I had the opportunity to guest lecture at University of Lincoln, UK & introduced some of the UofL Creative Writing undergraduates to my #PhD & research processes.
