The Executive Committee stands in solidarity with DSA LA’s Mutual Aid Committee. Recently, the Mutual Aid Committee released a statement acknowledging the history of harm based on anti-Blackness in DSA LA and its continued impact on folks’ ability to organize in DSA LA.

Hugo’s DSA-LA endorsement is shady. Need to be endorsed by 50 “members in good standing” to get DSA’s endorsement. Out of nowhere there were 24 votes that came in for Hugo in a 25 min period starting at 2:57AM. Each voted one minute after the last.🙄 Janet’s fake accounts, huh?

FIRST VOTE: 8/16/2021 LAST VOTE: 8/29/2021 110 votes for Hugo during two weeks, but 24 came in during a 25 min period at 3AM?? Come on, now. There are 64 names on the petition that are linked to suspicious accounts.

Haha. Remember those 24 accounts that voted at 3AM? Two of the last names are Hurtado (and match Janet’s address). Another matches someone that seems to be her 79 year old family member. Those three (along w/21 others) decided to all vote for Hugo in quick succession at 3AM.

Let’s not forget that Hugo’s paid campaign worker, Janet Hurtado, also tried to steal data from Al Corado’s campaign. Why does Hugo employ his person?
