Today we have been learning more about life in WW1. We made a meal of spam, potatoes, cabbage and carrot as well as carrot cookies! It was quick food you’d eat in the trenches. We’ve also marched, looked at different artefacts and practised our weapon skills on a bayonet!

We had a night in the trenches fighting the enemy before ending the day with hot chocolate, marshmallows and cream again! Now we’ve got a very serious card game going on - the winner gets a snack packet of biscuits!!

This is such sad news, an inspirational person who, along with her family, will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We send our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family at this, the saddest of times. We send prayers and thanks for her life of dedication and service.
