On Love Day Y2 revisited the story of the Lost Son, thinking of the father's love and forgiveness. They then read the story 'The Flower' and thought of ways that we can protect the beauty of our world. They held a litter pick during forest school to help our school environment.

On Love Day Year 1 acted out the Lost Sheep and had great fun trying to find their student teacher! They read the story 'The Boy with Flowers in his Hair' about the importance of loving and helping our friends. They made beautiful flower crowns and showed them off!

Values day this week focused on love. EYFS revisited the parable of the Lost Sheep and acted out the story which was lots of fun. They shared the story 'That's my flower' and learnt about how the beauty of the world is for us all to share. They planted seeds for loved ones.

Y5 completed a faith trail today. This morning they met Jerry Sibley who shared his fascinating knowledge of Judaism and Plymouth Synagogue with us. We then visited PIETy Islamic Centre, where Hichem Cheraga shared his wealth of knowledge about Islam.
