A good way to think about politics is who do you and your property belong to? You, the collective, or the ruler/rulers? This is what makes the political triangle such a powerful model for understanding ideologies and their relations.

A lot of the criticisms of capitalism are actually criticisms of there being brainlets in the market. The thing is, it is preferable that those brainlets make bad purchasing decisions rather than have a more direct influence on government through their tyranny of the majority.

The degree of freedom one has is directly proportionate to the control they have over their own survival.

It's something to behold how the US and the West at large currently delude themselves into fairy tales of tyranny of majority. As if they have it and as though a tyranny of the many isn't as undesirable as of that of the few.
