Time for a fact check on SB 94. ✅A small population of the most elderly inmates are eligible ✅Their recidivism rate is 0% ✅Bill doesn’t automatically let people out of prison. It’s judicial review to consider those who have fully rehabilitated ✅Saves 100s of millions tax 💵

Gov. Abbott trying to look tough after attempting to pardon a man convicted of killing a Black Lives Matter protestor. My SB 94 gives a small population of elderly people a chance to prove to a judge that they are fully rehabilitated after serving at least 2 decades in prison.

The same person who wants to pardon a white man convicted of murdering a Black Lives Matter protestor also thinks it's a bad idea to let CA judges take a second look at extreme sentences mainly served by people of color?  This is why we need #SB94: justice is NOT meted fairly.
