Thanks Yorkshire Wildlife Park 🦁 and Sheffield Hospitals for the tickets to the park! Finally made use of them and it didn't disappoint! Even dodged the rain! Highlights were the dinosaurs, the playgrounds (obvs) and the tiger 🐯 roaring loudly...we will be back!

Seeing reports on fb that #snakepass accident - car overturned 'just past summit' - not sure which side Road is treacherous, black icy and visibility seriously reduced - DO NOT DRIVE over the Snake Pass

There is a scheduled road close in place for Tuesday 6th February for 1 day concerning the Sheffield boundary to Ladybower Inn.

Reminder the road is closed between Sheffield boundary (Moscar) and Ladybower from 8.30am-3.30pm today. Ladybower to Glossop still passable as usual

👀 We have now closed the A57 Snake Pass, A537 Cat & Fiddle and A53 Buxton to Leek because of snow. We've a snow plough on the way to the Taddington bypass on the A6 to start clearing the snow there.
