When we Christians become convinced that we are the only authority on truth, that anyone who opposes us is evil, and that things will only get better if we are in charge of all positions of power, that is when we know we are no longer worshiping God. We are worshiping ourselves.

Millions of Christians like me will vote for Harris because Trump does not reflect our values, we think it’s blasphemous to claim he was sent by God, & we view how Trump & MAGA have politicized the teachings of Christ into an unrecognizable perversion of the faith with disgust.

So much of American Christianity has lost its grasp on the gospel of Jesus to the extent that when you say “welcome the immigrant,” “feed the hungry,” and “help the poor,” you get condemned for being “liberal” rather than simply identified as a follower of Jesus.

One of the most blatant forms of Christian hypocrisy in our time is Christians holding all the ordinary people we share this country with accountable to the most rigid moral standards while simultaneously holding their preferred politicians accountable to no standards at all.

If Bernie’s Social Security bill was enacted in 2021, Musk would have paid $2.9 billion more in taxes, Social Security would’ve been solvent for 75 years, benefits would’ve increased by $2,400 & 93% of Americans would have paid Zero more in taxes. The only one “entitled” is Musk.

It’s hard to argue that displaying the 10 Commandments in schools will make children behave better when it doesn’t work for the adults in churches.
