Cassie Silkoff sets a high school PR of 5:44.91, about 30 seconds faster than her race 10 days earlier and some 17 seconds faster than her best indoor 1,600 meter time this winter. She placed 6th of 144 finishers in the Girls' Unseeded Division.

Cassie Silkoff proudly wears her silver medal, earned Saturday at the NVL Championship by placing 2nd in the 800 meter run. She finished in a season best time of 2:30.32 for the open 800. Her performance also earns her All-NVL honors.
