I am ashamed that mass shootings & gun violence have continued to remain regular occurrences since our nations founding thru today (2019). It's not just who we've become, it's who we've always been. And if that fact doesn't both grieve and humble us, it will probably never change

My prayers are with city of El Paso, the families of those who lost loved ones and for the recovery of those who have been wounded. May God have mercy on the United States of America.

I questioned this leading I had to preach on the ImagoDei in the midst of our human tendency to “other” people. Then mass shootings, and white supremacist manifestos happened and suddenly I realize this was Spirit-led. Pray for me to deliver a needed word. #WordsMatter.

My pastor went pretty hard on white supremacy / idolizing nationality / complicity in evil / wrestling with your own hypocrisy of not living up to your own confession / lamenting well/ and call to body and spirit Harmony.

God sees who you are and He longs for you. He created the hunger in you that, apart from Him, is never satisfied.  His pursuit of your soul does not have mere satisfaction as its goal.  His goal is transformation into His likeness.
