Today we discussed how to ensure adequate funding to safeguard the full investment chain - from basic research to full-scale deployment - through #Euratom Research&Training Prgm, so EU does not fall behind its competitors. This matters beyond energy, incl. non-power applications.

Today we took another step toward approving our opinion on the #EURATOM Research & Training Prog 2029–2032. It should support the development of new #nuclear energy designs while strengthening solutions to upgrade the safe operation of existing plants. To be adopted next week.
