Echo this even as a tourist. Every 3 week winter trip to Ladakh's highlands would inevitably end with: 1) Why the hell was I born 2) Why the hell did I come to this hell 3) Why the hell am I torturing myself 4) Why the hell am I not in my cozy bed in a blanket

I have autistic interests and wondered if anyone knew whether the survey measurements of waterfall heights were accurate? Nohkalikai (340m) always looks shorter than Jog Falls (253m) to my eyes, or it could be an illusion? I've tried looking at all angles and it feels shorter 😅

It's unreal how our present work culture and excessive stimulation to lights have made us night owls (me included). Two days on the India - Burmese border villages, and I was sleeping at 8.30 PM, waking up to this view from my humble room at 4.30 AM!

This can be Nepal, Arunachal, Sikkim Bhutan, parts of eastern Tibetan plateau or China. But, landscape and architecture wise, not even remotely close to Ladakh.

A rare view of K2 from the summit of Mount Kun in Ladakh 2025 could turn out to be the first time that K2 won't see a summit due to a lack of snow! Many bare exposed rocks and rock falls. 📸: Rahul Chauhan

During the summer of 2024, I saw my 14th & final 8,000er peak - Nanga Parbat Having been a Himalayan orophile since I was a child, seeing the massive NP loom over in the distance quickened my heartbeat Future goals: Get close-up views of K2, Nanga Parbat & Namcha Barwa

Err..... I know there are two sides of a story, but unless assaulted and acting in self-defence, nothing justifies it. I know people tend to jump to defend, just because of the institution. But I've personally witnessed many bad apples in the forces as well.

There's always one person on night trains who snores like a tractor and makes your nights sleepless, or is it just me 🥲 Pic for attention and relevance because I love posting pics.

Those who aren't aware of Reddit sub r/AssamSpeaks, there's a lunatic called 'saopha'. Constantly spouts BS like this. Extremely caustic sub which is pro-ULFA, pro-Maoist and pro-secessionist. Why does Assam have so much separatist tendencies social presence? 🤔
