This October will be 5 years since the completion of Mothers, Daughters, & Sisters Of The Firelight. Just a reminder of what this wall on the Farmington Canal Greenway in New Haven looked like before 140 people collaborated as a community to create this work of public art.

I saw the largest black bear in my life crossing the street today in front of my house. Silent, magnificent, shadow of a creature. We keep cutting down our forests for strip malls and bs, there’s no where for them to live in peace.

This flower mural I’ve been installing in Fair Haven for Yale PRCH on the corner Grand & Blatchley, when complete will be my 30th work of public art.

As a street artist, I’m used to working among trash, but this is completely unacceptable. On Blatchley & Grand there are too many kids with the school at the corner to ignore this. I refuse to complete this work until this issue is resolved. @mayorelicker @nhpublichealth
