EHRAPresident Kevin Vernooy (one of the) million dollar question :-) Probably an OAC-treated patient is not the same in terms of risk as an OAC-naïve patient. Certainly not using crude risk assessment such as CHADS-VA. Note In the DOAC trials this percentage (OAC naïve) was much higher-close to 50%
