Nice article from Alan Ohnsman sharing the great work by ex-Tesla folks buff.ly/3pAC0TW. In addition, there are impressive teams in the energy space led by other ex-Tesla folks including Mateo Jaramillo at Form Energy, Anil at Auto Motive Power | A M P and Arch at SPAN

An excellent piece from farhad manjoo (former bluecheck) of how we move the world to sustainability! "People who study energy markets say economics alone ensures our eventual transition to clean fuels, but that policy choices by the governments can speed it up." 1/

Thank you CNBC - it is such a great honor for Sila to be selected among the top 50 disrupters, a recognition of the importance of #GreenEnergy, #EVs and #renewables and also the impact of university research commercialization (Georgia Tech Office of Technology Licensing, Georgia Tech College of Engineering )

Really good article buff.ly/3BiZ2Wo by Steve LeVine comparing battery development status of silicon anodes and lithium metal and why silicon anodes have a huge advantage. Great quote by Gene Berdichevsky “It’s not whose breakthrough science works, but who gets to scale.”

Insightful article by Steve LeVine talking about Gene Berdichevsky's "Forever Battery" and work being done by Jeff Dahn Dalhousie Chemistry to increase cycle life on EV battery cells such that recycling could become irrelevant buff.ly/3Au6PQd

Today we brought to market the most significant step forward in battery chemistry since the intro of Li-ion. Sila anodes will begin shipping immediately in the WHOOP 4.0, one of the most advanced pieces of wearable technology. buff.ly/3l659Gj buff.ly/3zZqHLc

Another huge step in the industry to accelerate EV production. Cell makers are scaling as fast as possible, but OEM's are finding a need to go even faster, so they're part or fully vertically integrating. Tesla, VW, Toyota, Stellantis, Volvo, and now Daimer. More will follow.
