Is ham radio dying? I’ve heard it for years. But it’s simply not true. #HamRadio isn’t dying — it’s evolving. #K0LWC k0lwc.com/ham-radio-is-d…

I got to talk with my 10 yr old Great Neice Jaycee tonight on #GMRS. This was our first chat with her running her HT from her house all by herself. She did an awesome job and it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to doing it again soon! ke0eyh/wrjr790 #HamR #HamRadio

I’ll be operating 146.520 simplex this evening from the Willis Tower Skydeck — 1,353 feet AGL! If you’re in the Chicagoland area, let’s make a QSO! #HamRadio Watch this thread for updates on specific timing.

The 1st radio-equipped vehicle used by Scotland Yard in 1924. It had a vacuum-tube radio transmitter & receiver with a radio operator in the back, so it could keep in touch with HQ at crime scenes. The wire T aerial on top could be folded down so it could pass under low bridges.
