Happy to share one of our first (behavioural) papers using NeuralArchCon/#skuldnet data: The role of mindful acceptance and lucid dreaming in nightmare frequency and distress. nature.com/articles/s4159…

Delighted to have our paper "Task requirements affect the neural correlates of consciousness" with first-author @ualsbombe out onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/ej….

Work by Sofia Tzioridou Kristian Sandberg @m_dresler Martin Dresler Erik Mueller (@[email protected]) suggests that mindfulness and acceptance are linked to less stressful nightmares and frequent lucid dreams nature.com/articles/s4159…

Our academic side-quest paper completed during NeuralArchCon/#skuldnet data preparation is out now: Subjective importance of olfaction is (only) weakly correlated with objectively measured olfactory function sciencedirect.com/science/articl…. Had a lot of fun with new people on this one.

❓Can mindfulness prevent nightmares? If you had no chance to read a paper published Scientific Reports by Sofia Tzioridou et al., we talked to Sofia, the 1st author, and summed it up for you 😀 bit.ly/3WToVqf CC: Kristian Sandberg Philipps-Universität

1/6 🧠 Our team at the BOB Lab is proud to unveil our latest work on the Measuring the Architecture of Consciousness (MARC) project. This research uses advanced imaging techniques to investigate the brain's complex structures and how they contribute to consciousness.

On why we lack confidence in some signal-detection-based analyses of confidence Good to see this come out. The first draft was sent to co-authors in October 2021 : ) authors.elsevier.com/a/1hCzX3lcz45E…

🧠✨ Ever wonder why some people can visualize images in their mind with incredible detail while others can't? Our preprint dives deep into the brain's network dynamics to explain the vividness of visual imagery. 1/3 🧵 biorxiv.org/content/10.110… #Neuroscience #VisualImagery

Our N=273 MRI study on visual imagery is up on BioRxiv. Employing graph theory analyses, we investigate structural and functional connectomes and find that vivid imagery is supported by networks optimized for localized information transfer. #skuldnet NeuralArchCon

Very happy to share this large-scale study of ours on domain-general metacognition with Audrey Mazancieux as the lead. We grouped 3 individual NeuralArchCon studies to test models of domain-generality and found evidence of separate cognitive/perceptual modules.

We are very saddened to hear that Daniel Dennett has died. Daniel was a Professor of Philosophy at Tufts University. He made immense contributions to consciousness science. He will be dearly missed dailynous.com/2024/04/19/dan…

New paper out from the NeuralArchCon/#skuldnet dataset from the Body Pain Perception Lab 🥳. In this wonderful paper, they help us all understand paradoxical heat sensation better. Very happy to have been able to play a small part in it.
