A Christian movement that demands all people be held accountable to the strictest standards of Biblical laws while simultaneously not wanting its preferred presidential candidate to be held accountable to any law is embodying the height of both political and religious hypocrisy.

Undocumented immigrants paid $97B in taxes in 2022. They paid a higher state/local tax rate than the top 1% in a majority of states. They contributed $26B to Social Security, which they can't benefit from. Remember this the next time the undocumented are called "freeloaders."

When you demonize women, the immigrant, the poor, and the marginalized, you don’t need to tell me about your religious beliefs. You’ve already shown me what they are by how you’re treating women, the immigrant, the poor, and the marginalized.

If you keep fusing Christianity with bigotry, racism, misogyny, xenophobia, nationalism, and the worship of political power, you have no one to blame but yourself for people rejecting Christianity in our society. People simply don’t want anything to do with that, and rightly so.

Interesting how it's always "vote according to Biblical values!" until it comes to welcoming the immigrant, helping the poor, feeding the hungry, bringing healthcare to the sick, forgiving debts, caring for our planet, laying down our swords, or loving our neighbors.
