UAPD has become one of the first three departments in Arizona to be accredited through the Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program. This is UAPD’s third accreditation and makes us the only department in the state to be accredited by three entities.

Bad take alert. 🚨 There is no controversy. If Miranda (which is not a Constitutional right) is violated, the remedy is the confession is thrown out. Been that way since 1966. It only becomes controversial now that some want to attach a claim for damages under 42 U.S.C. Sec 1983.
