Good point by Kyle Boddy. IZ S/M has been known to trump OOZ S/M, but to what degree? I ran regression models comparing the two with xBA pulling pitchers with >= 100 PA in 2022 from Savant. Although neither has a high r^2, the difference between the two is eye opening.
