The field events set to begin at 8:00am at the Girls IHSA State State Track & Field Finals will be delayed as a result of weather. The track and field facilities are currently closed until further notice.

The Girls IHSA State High Jump, Long Jump, and Pole Vault Finals will occur in Lantz Field House beginning at 10:00am. Lantz Field House will be open for Class 1A field event warm-ups at 9:30am.

The Girls IHSA State Track and Field Parade of Competitors will occur on time immediately followed by Opening Ceremonies. As a result of approaching weather, we will run a rolling schedule with the track events today.

The Girls IHSA State Track & Field Finals have been delayed due to weather. Field events that are underway in Lantz Field House may continue. Stay tuned for updates.

The Boys IHSA State 1A Track and Field Preliminaries are set to begin on time. Due to approaching weather for this afternoon, there will be a rolling schedule. Coaches and participants, do not rely on today’s track event schedule, as again, it will be a rolling schedule.

The Boys IHSA State 1A Track & Field Prelims are still under weather delay. There is still a lightning producing system within a 10 mile range. More updates to come.

Regarding the 1A Boys IHSA State track and field preliminaries, O’Brien Field will open for warm-ups at 2:50pm. The 1600 meter run and discus will resume at 3:10pm.

The 1A Boys IHSA State Discus has been postponed as a result of lightning. Stay tuned for updates.
