One of the corner towers and walls of Burgh Castle Roman Fort in Norfolk (Gariannonum). Built in the late 3rd century AD, the fort was one of a series of ‘Saxon Shore Forts’ constructed to defend Roman Britain against seaborne raiders. 📸 My own #RomanFortThursday #RomanBritain
