What a way to end the year...at least 2 of our pupils have made it through to the next round of the very special BLM BBC 500 words! Well done!

So much talent in our Year 8. We have been so pleased with the effort lots of pupils are putting into their work. Here are some examples of creative homeworks which show the diversity of approaches used. @KPS_Y7Y8 @kps_middle

Inspired by Katherine Rundell’s ‘The Book of Hopes’, some of our KPS pupils have written poems and narratives centred around the idea of hope. A new piece will be shared each week on the KPS journal for our readers to enjoy. kingsprioryjournal.wordpress.com

Year 7 and 8 were treated to a performance of ‘Gothic Tales’ last Tuesday by Redheart Theatre. The staging/lighting were excellent adding to the creepy atmosphere conducive to the reading of texts like ‘The Red Room’. Pupils were engaged and excited - thanks for a fabulous day!
