. Tremaine Phillips has been an absolute champion for Michiganders over the past 3.5 years at the MI Public Service Commission. I’m SO sad Dan Scripps and I can no longer call him a colleague at the best commission in the country. But I’m so happy for him and his family and their next chapter!

Took my first real road trip in my Ford Mustang Mach-E today and it couldn’t have gone better. More planning for charging upfront, but the Ford dealer in West Branch was👌- 20 min stop then back on the road to Alpena. Will update tomorrow with where I’m visiting & the drive home!
Got to see the incredible line worker & utility arborist programs this morning at Alpena Community College & the 18MW Lincoln Biomass plant today w Dan Scripps and some great MI Public Service Commission staff. Seeing how our energy system works is one of my favorite parts of the job!

Today Secretary Jennifer Granholm came out to Michigan’s west coast to celebrate the loan to restart 800 MW of clean, baseload power for our state along with Governor Gretchen Whitmer, katy huff, Joey Andrews, and so many supportive workers, community members. It’s a proud day.
Got to spend the past 4 days touring the UP with the two best commissioners in the country. Honored to be able to serve with Dan Scripps & Alessandra R Carreon, and even more honored to go hiking to a waterfall with you in our work clothes & pick wild raspberries off the side of the road
