You won’t get fluent just by immersing in Japanese 24/7. You have to speak to natives, make mistakes, and actually make the language a part of your life. Yes, listening and reading are important - but speaking is arguably even more so. Enough with Anki, go use your Japanese.

Anki should be used in the same way athletes take supplements for working out. It can accelerate your growth, but it can never replace the real work that needs to be done, which is death by a 1000 cuts talking to natives in real life.
