A1: Our school is participating in One Book, One School where all staff and students are reading the same book and collaborating through a variety of activities each week to help promote the love for literacy! #VAESPChat

A2: When our staff members present to each other and share the awesome things they are doing, everyone is engaged and willing to try new things. Topics have to be something they value and show a desire for. Hands on activities or take aways they can use are important. #VAESPChat

A3: Take chances, try new things, and attend PD sessions in areas I could learn more about. Ask for feedback and use every experience to learn and grow! #VAESPChat

A1: The hardest thing has been not seeing the kiddos and staff! I am making every effort to get into all the ZOOM meetings held by teachers, just so I can see the students and let them know we are thinking about them. #VAESPCHAT

A2: Besides the weekly "lesson plans" that provide instructional materials to the students, we are doing staff read alouds (posted to FB), virtual spirit week, lighthouse hunts, calls to families to check in #VAESPCHAT

A3: Being flexible and available at all times! Weekly staff meetings, wellness tips/newsletters, shout-outs, positive emails, encouragement!
