KACC teachers are learning about artificial intelligence and how to use it in their CTE programs.

We want to introduce our Medical Assistant class for the 24-25 school year. They will be working hard this semester in preparation for clinicals. They will take their certification assessment at the end of the year.

I always enjoy seeing the lab activities that Mrs. Mikesell creates for her exercise science students. Today, she used lab stations to introduce students to finding blood pressure, suturing, and athletic taping.

Mr. Massey is demonstrating and explaining to his 1st year electrical students the process for bringing electricity from an outside box into a building.

Ms.Wetekamp is introducing students to hand pieces and infection control in the lab during 1st Year Dental class.

Mrs. Townsend is teaching Medical Assistant students the steps in using the autoclave. Students then practice using it.

Mr. Vest, HVAC Teacher, took 1st year students to the mezzanine and the roof to show them the HVAC systems and related parts in action.

Love seeing students work on real world projects. Welding and construction students built a conference table for a school. Collision Repair students are working on a band trailer project for Kokomo High School.

The medical students are at the HOSA State Conference competing in events and participating in sessions. Congratulations to senior Aramaea Fivecoate for being selected to sing the national anthem. She did great!

Congratulations to seniors Caleb Davis and Ja’Keyvion Love from the Construction Program. They signed their letter of intent today to do their 4 Year Apprenticeship with Central Midwest Carpenters after graduation.

Congratulations to the seniors in the welding program. They had a 100% pass rate on the AWS 3g vertical industry certification assessment. They all have this certification as they enter the workforce or enroll in post-secondary training after graduation.

Advanced carpentry students decided to do one more project for the year. They are building a playhouse for a client.

Congratulations!! These CNA students passed their state CNA license exams and are now licensed Certified Nursing Assistants in the state of Indiana. We are proud of you!

Masonry students completed their final project today. They had to build a wall with an arch in it. They did a great job.

We want to welcome IU Health as a new partner with KACC. We appreciate them coming on campus today for a recruiting visit with our seniors to fill positions at their sites.
