After gameweek 8 of the First Division, Kerry FC are two points worse off than they were at this point in 2025. Onto Cork City away on Monday I guess.

Feel sick. An incredible first half performance from Kerry but it always feels inevitable. Reality is six points at the quarter mark, despite leading in seven of the nine games to this point. So close yet so far.

Kerry FC will be without both Niall Brookwell and Vincent Borden for tomorrow's home tie with UCD. Borden serves a one game suspension for his red card Monday whilst Brookwell misses the game due to yellow card accumulation. Assistant Conor McCarthy also suspended for 1 game.

Kerry FC have scored at least once in their last seven consecutive league games. They've managed five in a row on a couple of occasions, but this is their longest run. Positive affirmations, anyone?

Harvey Mangan starts in net for Kerry for the first time, McCrohan on the bench. Barrett, O'Connell and McGrath all in tonight to replace the suspended Borden, Brookwell and the injured Cooney. Shayne Stack and Robert Keane make the bench for Kerry tonight.

Huge shout-out to the 356 in attendance tonight. Although it was the lowest home crowd, which is understandable due to everything going on right now, they stayed till the end and were rewarded for sticking with the club. Onto the cup Semi-Final!

Defeat for Kerry in the Munster Senior Cup Semi. Sam Aladesanusi scored with a minute to play to get the game to within one but Lee's goal for City ten minutes into the second half proved to be the match winner.

Kerry FC return to Mounthawk Park tonight for a Munster Derby with Treaty United. Healy's side have not scored more than one goal at home in the league for ten straight games, dating back to August 1st. Treaty, though, have only kept one clean sheet in Tralee in six visits.
