If anyone that lives or is familiar with Nashville let me know what areas are the hardest and what you guys would like to see Waymo being tested in.

Amazing 🧵showing the difference that the new 2026.8.6 makes. It is truly a new version. Can’t wait for v14 Lite, we are getting closer every day!

I have gotten just a little more testing with 2026.8.6 and my opinion is different now. The model is more intelligent like originally stated, but this comes with a bit caveat—break stabbing. (Limited experience only in back roads—more testing to come) It seems the emergent

Tune in today for Waymo testing in Nashville and 12.6.4 (2026.8.6 testing on a 1000+ mile roadtrip!) x.com/i/spaces/1qKDz…

Last 6 days on AI/HW3 have been insane. 0 Safety Critical Disengagements 98% usage (only for chasing a Waymo and in parking lots) 2,827mi Other than AI4; HW3 FSD is THE BEST ADAS out there!

Several reports coming in of Tesla AI/HW3 Employees and Early Access getting 2026.8.6.1 This update follows the last minute revoking of the 2026.8.6 version due to issues with reverse camera activation on some vehicles. We hope to also see a potential fix to break stabbing.

Here is my Battery Health at 166k miles. The cars range is so usable that I rarely even notice it. The Tesla health test was taken ~ 1 month ago. What do you guys think is more accurate? Tessie or Tesla ‘s Health data?

Exited for Episode 3 of Our Full Self Future with Ji, coming out Thursday, April 23rd! It was so much fun coming out to DIY Wrap Club in Chattanooga and touring their facilities. Got home from recording the podcast and did a chrome delete for a friend, DIY Wrap Club for the win!

Seems this is an Ryzen HW3 (this picture looks more like Intel though…) The network card does not hold telemetry other than what’s actively being sent to the server while powered on. This is just misinformation, weird that it would go missing but not evidence of any wrongdoing.

Yes, there are problems with HW3, but… just take a look at these clips… In the first, it confidently gets around a cardboard box on a narrow road without brake stabbing. In the second, it handles a construction zone with cones blocking the lane by using the shoulder.

Just some more info I’ve dug up about this new HW5 chip, with more coming soon. Tesla appears to have moved from a “semi-SoC” design to a true SoC architecture, meaning the memory is now on the separate processing chip to reduce latency. This chip has 12 memory chips,

I agree with 90% of this. My two only gripes: Memory looks more like 12GB than 8GB, which lines up better with Elon’s 9x memory figure, and that AI5 may be a single universal chip rather than a separate car-specific design. If Tesla really leans into distributed compute like
